Taggstr is a software startup based in Silicon Valley, CA that will be presenting a new tagging platform for mobile users that will enable them to "tagg" their locations, make their mark, and share their moments with their friends and family on their social networks. Through a restriction to 150 character, 20 second video, or 3 picture "taggs", users will provide concentrated, relevant information pertaining to their locations and thus present a more efficient and easier way to find what there is to do nearby. Users will not only be able to create "taggs" and leave their marks on the world around them, but also search "taggs" in order to more easily find relevant information about different places due to the concentrated 150-character text limit. Taggstr will also be launching an events platform that will be incorporated with social networks like Facebook that allow for easy, fun, and real-time "tagging" feedback for any event. Social networking integration with sites such as Facebook and Twitter will enable publishing of "taggs" on user live feeds, allowing real-time sharing. Furthermore, by launching Taggstr to iPhone users, Taggstr will take advantage of the most cutting-edge and revolutionary technology that is present in mobile applications.
